Community Bible Fellowship began in the fall of 1993 with just a handful of people who met for prayer, seeking God’s direction for their lives and how they might better reach their community with the gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as having a desire to follow a biblical pattern for worship and ministry. In early 1994 Community Bible Fellowship began meeting at Minter Elementary School and we were incorporated as a church. Later our assembly met at Key Peninsula Middle School.
In August of 2009 we moved to Gig Harbor and met in a building that was available off of Hunt Street. While we were hoping to purchase this facility, the Lord had other plans. We moved to Lighthouse Christian School. Because of various circumstances CBF was dissolved. Its last day was October 26th, 2014.
Those of us who remained to fellowship under another name are convinced that our Lord Jesus works His purpose through these events for our good and His glory.
